Privacy Policy
1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to getmenova.com and its subpages (the “Site”). It does not apply to the intake, patient portal, or medical services operated by [TELEHEALTH PARTNER], or to the dispensing pharmacy, each of which has its own privacy notice. The Site is intended for adults 18 and older in the United States.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact messages. If you email or call us, we keep your name, contact details, and the content of your message so we can respond.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data. IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, buttons clicked, time on page, referring URL, and campaign parameters (such as
utm_source,gclid,fbclid) that arrive with the link you clicked. - Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 5.
- Consent and preference state. Whether you accepted or declined analytics and advertising cookies, stored in your browser so we do not ask again.
Information we do not collect on this Site
We do not ask for, and our analytics and advertising tools are configured not to receive, any information about your symptoms, diagnoses, medications, or other health status. Those questions are asked only on the intake operated by [TELEHEALTH PARTNER] after you leave this Site.
3. How we use information
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To measure which pages and page versions are most helpful (we test several versions of our landing page).
- To measure and improve our advertising, including which ads led someone to start the intake.
- To respond to your messages.
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
4. How we share information
- Service providers that host the Site, provide analytics, and send email on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of your information.
- Advertising partners. Google (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads) and Meta (Meta Pixel) receive device and usage data through their cookies and pixels when you accept advertising cookies. Under California and similar state laws this may be considered “sharing” for cross‑context behavioral advertising; you can opt out at any time (Section 6).
- [TELEHEALTH PARTNER]. When you click a button to start your assessment, we pass the page version you saw and your campaign parameters in the link so that they and we can measure results. No health information is involved because none is collected here.
- Legal. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
- Business transfers. If Menova is acquired or merged, information may transfer to the successor under this policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
5. Cookies, pixels, and analytics
When you first visit, a banner asks whether we may use analytics and advertising cookies. Until you choose, Google tags run in a limited, cookieless mode and the Meta Pixel does not set cookies.

To change your choice, click Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information in the footer. You can also block cookies in your browser, use Google’s opt‑out add‑on, and adjust Meta ad settings.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and receive a copy.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. Use the footer link above; we also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt‑out where required.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email [PRIVACY EMAIL] or call [PHONE]. We will verify your identity using the information we already hold and respond within the time the law requires (generally 45 days). You may designate an authorized agent. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our response.
California residents: in the past 12 months we collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2 (identifiers, internet activity, and commercial information limited to clicks on our offers). We disclosed them to service providers and, for advertising cookies, shared them with the advertising partners in Section 5. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information other than as needed to provide the Site.
7. Health information and HIPAA
Menova, LLC operates this Site as a marketing service and is not itself a HIPAA covered entity for the Site. Your medical care is provided by licensed physicians through [TELEHEALTH PARTNER] and [MEDICAL GROUP], which are covered entities under HIPAA. Any information you give them about your health, your assessment answers, your prescription, and your communications with your physician are protected health information (PHI) and are governed by the Notice of Privacy Practices, which explains:
- how PHI may be used and disclosed for treatment, payment, and health‑care operations, and when your written authorization is required;
- your rights to access, amend, and receive an accounting of disclosures of your PHI, request restrictions and confidential communications, and receive a paper copy of the notice;
- how you will be notified if there is a breach of your unsecured PHI, as required by the HIPAA Breach Notification Rule; and
- how to complain to the covered entity or to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights.
Where Menova, LLC performs services for a covered entity that involve PHI, it does so under a Business Associate Agreement and uses and discloses PHI only as that agreement and HIPAA permit. We never use PHI for advertising, and we do not place advertising pixels on pages that collect health information.
8. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Retention
Contact messages are kept for up to [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 3 years] after our last exchange. Analytics data is retained according to the settings we configure with each provider (currently [e.g. 14 months] for Google Analytics). Consent preferences remain in your browser until you clear them.
10. Children
The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third‑party links
The Site links to [TELEHEALTH PARTNER], our dispensing pharmacy, and reference sources. Their privacy practices are their own; please read their policies.
12. Changes
We will post any changes here and update the effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site for at least 30 days.
